Up for grabs is either an 8 oz. mocha or a 7 oz. iced mocha. I chose iced. A perfect afternoon break in my bike ride.
I walked in and if the golden arches did not give away that I stepped into McDonald's my interaction with the girl taking the orders at the counter did. I asked for the "Mocha Mondays iced coffee."
She looked at me quizzically and asked a colleague when was Mocha Mondays. She was told Monday.
I guess it was the first one for her that day, at about 3:15 p.m. Regardless the order was in. I got to watch another employee make it. She topped it off with a ton of whipped cream and handed it to me. Thank you.
Great perk. An iced coffee shot. Cooled me down. Quick, fast, delicious. And within minutes I was ready to ride.
I tried to grab my mocha around 10:00 pm last night, but was told the promotion ends at 7:00 pm.
ReplyDeleteOn our drive back from West Palm Beach, we stopped at a McDonalds in Clewiston. John saw the sign and was excited because it was Monday.
ReplyDeleteHe walked in while I waited out in the car. Five minutes later, he came out empty handed.
He had asked the girl at the counter (who clearly did not want to be at work): "So what's this free Mocha Monday promotion?"
She said: "You just get a little sample. It's nothing." And she waved him away.
